30/06/08 NU load Cell The NU load cell is a 6 wire temperature compensated stainless steel double ended shear beam load cell.  The double ended shear beam gives the load cell the unique ability to self-compensate for side forces on the load.  This means firstly, the ability to use two load cells to support the weighed structure (instead of the traditional 3+) and the ability to bolt structures through the side of the cell, greatly reducing mounting hardware.
02/02/09 SMEA load Cell TC Process has released SEMA solid mount load cell in capacities 5t, 10t, 25t 50t and 100t.  The solid mount load cell is designed to bolt directly onto the weighing structure eliminating the need for flexible mounts which are not desirable in certain applications.  The SEMA feature 300% overload and 150% side loading.  Ideal for applications which cannot "float" (unstable) on traditional load cell mounts and assemblies or cannot be simply restrained, like crane scales, ladle cars, track and rail scales, vibrating screens and moving weigh bridges.
